Senator Alice-Mary Higgins confirms that she left X last year

Independent Senator (NUI) and Leader of Seanad Civil Engagement Group Alice-Mary Higgins has confirmed that she has left X. She hasn’t posted on the platform since Feb 3rd 2025 and in her final post she encouraged others to also switch.

She also noted that the only reason she hasn’t logged back in to delete her account as that in order to so she would have to accept their new terms and conditions which she finds unacceptable.
